Touch Top Tips - Week four

The one thing we all know about using tablets is that most do not have a flash, and trying to get a photo in a loft space (or other dark area) whilst measuring, holding the tablet, and everything else is just too much for one person. To get around this particular problem, NES Touch allows you to take photos on another device and upload them into the app.

In this example we have taken the photos on a smartphone and e-mailed them across, but this can also be done via Bluetooh, Dropbox or using a data transfer cable.

Taking photos on another device:

1. Take the photo on your smartphone and then click on 'share'. The button may look something like this:



2. Then select the method you want to use to transfer the photo to your tablet:

 

3. You can then download and save the image onto your tablet



4. Then, when you are at the relevant question or evidence section on the app, you can select the 'Gallery' option (or this can also be done through the Photo Stream):



5. Select the photo:

6. The image will now show in your photo stream as well:
