On 17 March 2016 we received notification from DCLG of 'Amendments to Energy Performance of Buildings (England and Wales) Regulations 2012'. This notification includes a change to the Landmark lodgement fees which will come in to effect on 6 April 2016. 

Changes to lodgement fees:

The statutory fees for lodging the data from which certificates and reports may be produced on to the Energy Performance of Buildings registers is changing on 6 April 2016, as follows:

• Domestic lodgements: currently £1.27, changing to £2.07

The results are in for our latest customer satisfaction survey and we can reveal that, out of the 130 respondents, not a single customer was dissatisfied with the service they received from our Customer Support Team – and we think this deserves a special mention!

Last year, NES travelled the UK to bring the latest in energy news, conventions and auditing tips to a place near you. We had a great time meeting members and non-members alike and, since last year's road shows were such a success, we've decided to do it all again!

A student at the SAVA School of Surveying has become the first to achieve the Diploma in Residential Surveying and Valuation and be welcomed into the RICS fold.   

The student completed both training and assessment for the diploma in just 15 months, achieving the qualification in December 2015. Since then, he has been accepted into RICS as an Associate member and will begin his career with the AssocRICS designation after his name.  The news comes just 18 months after the school’s launch in 2014.
